leadership

Tyler Whaley is a licensed architect, certified passive house designer and a member of the Colorado Green Building Guild.

His passion for buildings developed as he grew up around his father's construction sites in Western Colorado. He honed his skills as a roofer and carpenter in Chaffee and Pitkin County before embarking on a career in architecture.

Tyler holds a Bachelor's of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as a Design Build Graduate Certificate and Master's of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver.

His experience in both design and construction gives him a pragmatic perspective on architecture and enables him to create buildings that are not only beautiful, but also practical and functional.

Tyler enjoys working collaboratively with with clients, organizations, craftspeople and contractors to produce works that are considerate of the natural world and human experience.
